Almost all of our flatware intended for individual eating are cast in antique molds. The oldest molds we have are two spoon molds from about 1650! While forks were not commonly used as personal tableware on this continent until after our Civil War, one of our forks is cast in an antique mold from around 1820 – it was considered a novelty item at that time! Our Specialty Utensils are perfect for the “foodie” or the historian in your life and are reproductions of pieces in use in Colonial and Early American households.
